Role: Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £44,000+ OT

Shifts: Panama’s (Days and nights 2 week rotation)

Location: Hatfield

The Company:

Our Client are one of the largest system integrators for the warehousing industry in the world. They are specialists in the design, manufacturing and maintenance of the highly automated, state of the art systems that are needed to help businesses logistics run.

This position can offer some fantastic job security, with the resident business being in operation for over 130 years and our client having a UK turnover of £100m, the stability this role offers is unmatched!

This site is also brand new with it only being built in the last 5 years. This means that this role is a great opportunity for a maintenance engineer looking to kickstart a career in automation as all the machinery you would be looking after is highly automated and you will receive all the necessary support needed to be successful within the role

The Role:

The role of maintenance engineer will include the following:

• Reactive Maintenance on highly automated systems including: Conveyors, Strapping systems and more
• Preventative maintenance on state of the art, PLC driven systems including: Cranes, Hanging garment systems,
• Working Mechanically with: Shafts, Bearings, Belts, Gearboxes
• Working electrically in/with: Control Panels, sensors, switches, contactors, 3 phase kit
• Working in a tight knit team of 8 engineers with a great atmosphere around the site

The Candidate:

The right candidate for the role of Maintenance Engineer will be/have

• A recognised engineering qualification
• Be able to work confidently electrically or mechanically
• A team player with a positive attitude
• Be passionate and motivated with a pro-active nature to look for areas of improvement on site.
