Our client within the public sector is a prominent public sector institution. It has a strong commitment to enhancing its technological capabilities to better serve the community. They are currently looking for a BI Analyst for their Leeds office.

Job Description

A successful BI Analyst will;

• Conduct data analysis and create reports to support strategic decision-making.
  
• Collaborate with team members to develop efficient data management systems.
  
• Ensure data integrity and compliance with relevant regulations.
  
• Provide technical support to other departments when needed.
  
• Develop and implement BI tools and dashboards.
  
• Contribute to the training of staff on data management and analysis.
  
• Participate in cross-departmental projects.
  
• Stay updated on industry trends and developments.
  

The Successful Applicant

A successful BI Analyst will have;

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Experience creating ad hoc SQL queries of T-SQL
• Understand basic concepts of BI Architecture such as ETL, Data Warehousing and Data Modelling
• Ability to manipulate, model, and analyse data using Excel, SQL, QlikView, Qlik Sense
• Experience developing reports using data visualisation tools such as QlikView, Qlik Sense, Tableau or PowerBI

What's on Offer

• Salary up to £42,618 p.a.
• FTC until March 2025
• Hybrid setting (Based in Leeds, work from home for up to 80% of contracted hours)
