We have recently moved to a newly refurbished based at Greenland Road, S9. This purpose fit warehouse is significantly increasing our warehousing capacity and as such we are looking for numerous people to join our team on a permanent basis. We work Monday to Friday and the hours that we have available are: -

• 07:00 - 15.30
• 08:30 - 5:00
• 11:00 - 19:30

As a Senior Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for providing an efficient materials management system through the receipting, storing, and despatching of materials, goods, and products to feed business operations to meet customer demands and deputising for Warehouse Team Manager.

What will your role as Senior Warehouse Operative involve?

• Carrying out prestart checks on all operational equipment and report any damage or defects to the Warehouse Team Manager.
• Take delivery of goods into the warehouse in accordance with the company delivery specification and check for missing or damaged items.
• Accurately book goods into stock using the computerised stock system.
• Sort and store materials/items onto racking and shelving and accurately record the stock location on the computerised stock system.
• Pick items from throughout the warehouse and prepare and complete warehouse orders for despatch.
• Supervision of staff in absence of the Warehouse Team Manager.

| What do you need to be successful in this role?

To be successful as a Senior Warehouse Operative, you will need to be able to demonstrate you are: -

• Licensed to drive a Reach Truck, Counterbalance or VNA is preferred but not essential
• Experienced working within a team and may have some supervisory experience.
• Familiar working within a warehouse environment.
• A self-starter using your initiative to reach goals and solve problems.
• Thorough and analytical in all your work with great attention to detail.
• Excellent in time management and organisation.
