Job Description - Stores Team Leader

When completing your application please ensure that you clearly demonstrate how you meet the role criteria. Qualifications: Essential criteria Foundation level degree, level 4 qualification or demonstrable experience. GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths at grade C/4 or above or equivalent. NVQ 3 in Warehousing and Storage or demonstrable equivalent experience. Evidence of short courses / qualifications or equivalent demonstrable experience in supervision of staff/ staff management. Microsoft Office Packages evidence of short courses or relevant experience. Desirable criteria Certificate in Good Distribution Practice (GDP). Certificate in medical gas handling (BOC) or equivalent. Experience: Essential criteria Experience in the use of Inventory management systems. Experience in goods receipting and stock management. Ability to work with other staff to improve and develop working practices. Experience of working in a confidential environment. Demonstrable leadership experience. Desirable criteria Experience in the operation of Laboratory autoclaves. Experience with NHS/Healthcare order management software. Recent & relevant experience working in a multidisciplinary environment. Skills and Knowledge: Essential criteria Working knowledge of Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel, Access etc). Effective communication skills, written and oral. Able to follow and work to SOP and Policies. Strong time management, adaptability to change, and efficient handling of workload priorities. Knowledge of office health and safety standards. Ability ;to build relationships, work under pressure, and contribute to a high-quality service. Commitment to the role.
