We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Warehousing Storage Engineer to join our team. In this position you will maintain and troubleshoot our fully automated MOVO system while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. You will report directly to the Site / Operations Manager and collaborate with the site team to ensure optimal operational throughput.

Your role in our mission

  • Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) to the correct standard and on schedule.
  • Diagnose and correct faults in the MOVO system to maintain efficient operations.
  • Identify, diagnose, and rectify system faults and issues to ensure continuous performance.
  • Adhere to and support company quality objectives, following all Health and Safety legislation and guidelines.
  • Complete administrative tasks, monitor spare parts usage, and conduct stock checks.
  • Support site operations and liaise with various suppliers and contractors.

Valued skills and experience

  • HND in Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Qualified Electrical/Electro-mechanical Engineer with a 70/30 electrical/mechanical bias.
  • Proficient in PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems with experience in automated pallet systems.
  • Flexible, highly self-motivated, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and administrative skills with a strong problem-solving aptitude.
  • Able to work confidently at all heights and perform effectively under high pressure without impacting customer requirements.
