General Description/Scope of Responsibilities (Internship):
Essential Functions of the Internship:
Gain insight into the responsibilities of various roles in Clinical Operations and other departments in Basel, understand the importance of ICH-GCP and how Clinical Studies are managed
Gain insight in differences across countries in region Europe for management of clinical trials. Get insights in different tools and systems used for daily management of clinical trials
Provide ongoing support to study teams by becoming familiar with the day-to-day operations and the clinical trials currently being conducted.
Perform other support tasks as assigned in accordance with the SOPs, regulatory agencies and ICH-GCP guidelines.
Computer Skills: Computer literate on Microsoft Office package. Anything in addition is a plus.
Other Qualifications:
Availability to work full-time, for 10-12 weeks during summer period
Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently in a fast-paced environment
Good organizational, time management and communication skills
Language: Advanced English
