We are offering an exciting opportunity for an undergraduate student to join our team for a 12-month industrial placement. As part of our UX engineering team, you will be a key contributor to our software design solutions, gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced, innovative enterprise environment.
You will integrate with cross-functional teams, learn from senior professionals, and help champion a human-centered design approach across the business.
- Contract Duration: July 2026 – July 2027
- Location: Central London, UK
- Office Policy: Mandatory 3 days per week in the office.
As a Front-end Development intern your main role will be to prototype and implement user interfaces for our mobile and cloud systems as part of a team of Software Engineers. This will involve creating front-ends for Android & iOS apps, websites, and both mobile and desktop webapps. You will need to have an eye for design to translate designs into pixel perfect implementations.
Responsibilities:As part of a team of Front-end Developers:
- Work, advise, and collaborate with UX Designers to produce elegant and innovative front-end user interfaces in the latest front-end technologies
- Prototype new ways to interact with bleeding edge mobile and virtual technologies
- Fulfil several project requests simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
- Interact with teams across the whole of Zebra to spread the message of good User Experiences
- Take part in team brainstorms to discover new and innovative product ideas
Qualifications:Minimum Education/Qualifications:
- Stidies in Computer science related degree
- Your degree program must include a formal "Year in Industry" or "Sandwich Year" placement
- You must be scheduled to return to your final year of university studies in September 2027.

quickly, embrace new tools or methods, and thrive in a
dynamic, fast-paced environment. - Technical Skills – Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
(e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic familiarity
with technology solutions. - Integrity – Commitment to ethical behavior and
confidentiality.
