We are looking for graduates to join our Planning Consultancy or Infrastructure Planning teams in 2027. This is an opportunity to work in a leading engineering and professional services consultancy, supporting clients to understand what is possible, navigate the planning system and bring forward places that respond to local needs.

Infrastructure Planning: Exeter, Edinburgh/Glasgow and Birmingham
A little bit more about your role and the team…
As a Graduate in our Planning Consultancy or Infrastructure Planning teams, you’ll help clients navigate the planning system and bring forward sustainable places and infrastructure that respond to local needs.
You will support multidisciplinary projects across areas such as housing, mixed-use development, regeneration, social infrastructure, rail, energy, utilities and transport. From policy research and planning strategy to stakeholder consultation, consent applications and project delivery, you’ll build your understanding of the planning process while contributing to practical advice that helps deliver successful development and major infrastructure projects.

What we’re looking for

You will be looking to start work in September 2027.
You will be interested in planning, development, regeneration, infrastructure, policy, consents or engagement.
You will be curious, analytical and motivated to support sustainable places and major infrastructure.
You will enjoy collaborating and learning from planners, designers, engineers and environmental specialists.
You will want to create value for clients and communities through clear advice and effective engagement.
You will be keen to learn, take ownership and build your career across planning and infrastructure projects.
