Reeson Education is recruiting an After School Coding Club Tutor for flexible after-school work across West and Central London, mainly around W4 and W14.

This After School Coding Club Tutor role is ideal for Computer Science, IT, Computing or Technology students looking for paid work alongside their studies. You should be confident with technology and enjoy working with children. Training and session materials will be provided.

Location: West & Central London, mainly W4 and W14
Pay: £15 per hour
Days: Tuesdays and Wednesdays
Hours: 3:30pm-4:30pm
Contract: Flexible / zero-hours
Training providedWhat You'll Be Doing

The After School Coding Club Tutor will deliver engaging one-hour technology sessions to children aged 7-12.
Support children with coding and creative technology activities using resources provided.
The After School Coding Club Tutor will manage behaviour and keep pupils engaged throughout the session.
Set up and pack away laptops and other equipment.
Support activities involving coding, digital technology and VR where required.What We're Looking For in an After School Coding Club Tutor

Tech savvy and confident using computers.
Basic understanding of programming such as Python.
An After School Coding Club Tutor should be energetic, reliable, organised and confident communicating with children.
Previous experience working with children is preferred.
Knowledge of animation, creative design, CAD or 3D modelling is useful but not essential.
Strong safeguarding awareness.This is a great opportunity for an After School Coding Club Tutor looking for short, regular afternoon work that can fit around university, another job or other commitments.

As an After School Coding Club Tutor, you can provide your availability for Tuesday and Wednesday sessions and accept suitable bookings across West and Central London.
