About Insurance Consulting

The Insurance team works with industry leading insurers and brokers to position their businesses for future success and are supporting our clients on some of the industry’s most ground-breaking and exciting engagements. Our consultants help to deliver end-to-end transformation, from strategy through to implementation, spanning underwriting, claims, digital engineering and AI & data.

Within Insurance Consulting UK, we have a fast-growing team of dedicated consultants, with deep experience from working both within the industry and consulting. Successful applicants should expect a diverse range of complex and strategic engagements across the market.

What You’ll Do

• Complete a structured developmental training programme covering consulting skills, tools, and soft skills, alongside social events to get to know the Alpha team


• Join a project team supporting delivery for our insurance clients, helping solve their biggest challenges


• Support Business Management areas, gaining insight into how a consulting business runs day to day


• Attend client meetings, document requirements, and prepare client proposals and presentations in PowerPoint


• Build financial models and get stuck into creative problem solving with Alpha colleagues

Strong performance could lead to a full-time Graduate Analyst offer after your studies.

Who We’re Looking For

We're looking for highly motivated individuals who are excited by problem-solving, consulting, and the opportunity to make an impact from day one. Successful candidates will:

• Penultimate or final year undergraduate students who are able to take part in an 8-week internship from Monday 5^th July to Friday 27^th August


• Have the right to work in the UK


• Have a genuine interest in consulting in the Insurance industries


• Be highly ambitious, proactive and entrepreneurial, with a ‘can do’ attitude


• Have strong problem-solving skills, with an analytical mindset


• Willingness to be part of a team which enjoys working hard and socialising together


• An interest in assisting with one or more areas of business management
