• Term time only (39wks, paid for 45 wks). Hours are approx. 08:40 - 15:10, five days (30hrs) a week, dependent on site.

The Role 

This is a two year (part-time) Level 3 Apprenticeship Qualification. The Apprenticeship Program is a structured qualification program providing hands-on experience within the school setting, alongside gaining a recognised qualification. As an Apprentice Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our teachers and engaging with our pupils. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in the preparation and delivery of lessons.
• Providing support to individual students or small groups to help them understand the material and complete tasks. 
• Helping to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment. 
• Monitoring and recording student progress. 
• Assisting with the management of classroom resources and setup. 
• Providing personal care.
• May be required to work at any of our six sites.

We are looking for candidates who have:

• A knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
• The ability to work collaboratively with teachers and school staff 
• Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude 
• Commitment to completing coursework
