An exciting opportunity is available for a motivated individual to begin a career in vehicle body repair with an established specialist vehicle repair business in Gloucester. No previous experience is needed, just a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and an interest in practical, hands-on work.
 
You'll receive hands-on training from experienced technicians, learning how to repair and refinish a wide range of vehicles, including caravans, motorhomes and other large vehicles. With modern workshop facilities and a varied workload, you'll have the opportunity to develop valuable skills and build a long-term career in a skilled trade.

The Role
As an Apprentice Vehicle Body Repair Technician, Bodyshop Apprentice or Vehicle Paint Apprentice, you'll learn the skills needed to repair and refinish vehicles to a high standard.
Your training will include:
·Learning the fundamentals of vehicle body repair and accident repair techniques.
·Assisting experienced technicians with vehicle repairs and refinishing.
·Preparing vehicle surfaces for repair, including sanding, filling and masking.
·Learning paint preparation and spraying techniques.
·Gaining experience using professional tools, equipment and repair materials.
·Developing an understanding of different repair methods for caravans, motorhomes and larger vehicles.
·Learning how to maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop.
·Following health and safety procedures and using protective equipment correctly.
·Developing the practical skills and confidence required to work towards becoming a fully qualified technician.
 
You'll be supported throughout your training, with guidance from experienced colleagues as you develop your skills.
