Compliance Intern / Assistant ( 6 Month FTC )

We are seeking a talented and motivated Compliance Intern/ Assistant  to join our Compliance team at an exciting time of business growth and transformation. 

This  role provides an excellent opportunity for an individual interested in compliance, regulation, legal services, risk management or financial services. The successful candidate will work closely with members of the Compliance and interact Operations teams, assisting with day-to-day activities that support the firm’s regulatory and legal obligations. This is a 6 month fixed term contract, with the possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with compliance monitoring and regulatory administration activities.


• Support the preparation and maintenance of compliance records, registers and documentation.


• Assist with AML matters and documentation.


• Support client due diligence, onboarding and record-keeping processes where appropriate.


• Assist with requests under UK GDPR.


• Prepare meeting notes, summaries and action trackers.


• Undertake general administrative and operational tasks as required.

Skills & Experience

Essential

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.


• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.


• Strong written and verbal communication skills.


• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.


• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.


• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Desirable

• Current undergraduate student, or recent graduate.


• Studying or interested in Law, Compliance, Business, Finance, Risk Management or a related discipline.


• Previous internship, work experience or academic exposure within legal, compliance, regulatory or financial services environments.
