At Quilter, our customers are at the heart of everything we do. Our two-year Early Careers Programme, based in the COO division, gives you hands-on experience across the full customer service journey through structured rotations in three core areas: Operations, Procurement, and Regulatory.
What You’ll Experience
Operations
Build practical experience in supporting customers end-to-end—from onboarding and processing requests to ensuring operational excellence and compliance at every step.
Procurement
Learn how sourcing strategies, supplier management, and cost optimisation drive value and support Quilter’s strategic objectives.
Regulatory
Develop a strong understanding of key regulatory disciplines, including financial crime prevention, CASS, risk frameworks, compliance standards, and governance controls—critical to safeguarding our customers and ensuring business resilience.
How the Programme Comes Together
Across the three rotations, you’ll gain a holistic view of how these functions work together to deliver a seamless customer experience and maintain high operational standards. You’ll see first-hand how data, risk management, change delivery, and technology all support the customer journey and shape the longterm success of Quilter’s operations.
The role is based in our Southampton office, and there will be some opportunity to work from home.
This role is offering a salary of £24,500.
Upon successful completion of the programme, you may be offered a position within one of the teams.
Consumer Duty
Whilst this isn’t a directly customer facing role, the duties you will perform will contribute to the overall positive outcomes for our customers.
Our programme is open to candidates regardless of whether they hold a degree. Please note, however, that we have two programme in-takes each year: one in April and one in September. To be eligible, you must have completed all studies prior to the start date of your chosen in-take, either April or September 2026.
As part of the programme, we will support you in obtaining a qualification in this area of our business.
In addition, we also ask that:
You are passionate about delivering exceptional service to our customers and are curious to ensure the best possible outcomes are delivered.
You possess a strong interest in data collection, interpretation, and presentation. You are enthusiastic about analytics and committed to enhancing this skillset.
You are keen to learn more about AI, prompt engineering, predictive analytics and how this can be used in Customer Services.
A keen attention to detail, and a curious mind.
You will be able to demonstrate that you’re continuously able to develop and adapt in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment and are receptive to all feedback.
You are a team player, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues across different departments.
You have clear and concise communication skills to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
You are proactive, with a can-do attitude and eager to take on new challenges.
You have a strong work ethic and want to grow your career.
You are proficient in Microsoft Office and Power BI (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.)
We are unable to provide sponsorship for this programme and can only consider candidates who have right to work in the UK.
