Energy & Sustainability Consultant (Trainee)

We're looking for an ambitious individual to join our Energy Team here at Atspace.

We're looking for a person who's interested in how buildings work, wants to learn new skills, enjoys speaking with people, and is keen to build a long-term career in one of the UK's fastest-growing industries. We have a fast-paced day to day working environment, using the latest technology and software to push the boundaries of what we can achieve.

At ATSPACE, we work with developers, architects and contractors across both residential and commercial projects, helping them create buildings that are safer, more energy efficient and better for the people who use them. From single homes to large-scale developments, our work has a real impact.

You'll be joining a team that's passionate about improving building performance, reducing energy consumption and helping shape a more sustainable future. The work we do isn't just about ticking compliance boxes, it's about helping clients go beyond minimum requirements and creating buildings that genuinely perform better.

What you'll be doing

* Learning to use industry-leading Modelling software.

* Developing a strong understanding of building physics and how buildings perform in the real world.

* Working directly with clients on both large sites and individual projects.

* Helping developers and design teams create more energy-efficient buildings – from the very start of the project to the very end.

* Supporting assessments and reports for both commercial and residential developments.

This is a desk based role, but client facing through emails and telephone communication, as well as regular team meetings, so strong communication skills and a willingness to build relationships are just as important as technical ability.
