Graduate Trainee Program - Electrical Engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking a Fresh Electrical Engineer with a willingness to obtain ECS Card. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and project specifications. Responsibilities

• Install, test, and maintain electrical systems and equipment
• Ensure compliance with BS 7671 wiring regulations
• Diagnose faults and perform repairs efficiently
• Work on heating meter installations and electrical connections
• Install and configure meter gateways / smart metering systems
• Add and connect power sources for new and existing installations
• Carry out Distribution Board (DB) preparation, wiring, and upgrades
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Conduct inspections and complete certification

Qualifications

• Masters/Bachelors in electrical engineering.
• Proven experience working with electrical systems in industrial or construction environments.
• Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools related to electrical work.
• Experience with heating meters, meter gateways, and smart systems
• Strong knowledge of DB installation and power distribution systems
• Knowledge of UK electrical regulations and H&S standards
• Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
