Job Description - HR Internship

Millennium hotels and Resorts UK are looking for a HR Internship to join our corporate HR team.

You’ll need to be a people person and have emotional intelligence to work with a wide variety of people and solve problems that arise.

As a HR Internship you will Support the Corporate HR as well as Hotels HR team. The role will evolve around daily duties and office general administration and be involved in various HR projects within the role.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Support the HR in their daily duties.
  • Support all employees with their HR queries, understand and explain the HR processes.
  • HR Administration: Follow-up employees accounts, take notice of days off, lieu days and sick leaves.
  • Follow projects of the HR departments
  • HR administration for starters leavers, transfers, maternity and monitoring of probation periods ensuring action and production of documentation within specified time frames
  • Maintain Employee Files in line with Data Protection Act.
  • Provide support to Hotels HR teams and business including performance mgmt. and absence mgmt.

 

 In order to be successful in this role you will need to have:

  • Exceptional organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • A flexible approach to work, with an ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong team player approach with the ability to network.
  • Fluency in English language (verbal and written);
  • Curiosity and appetite for continuous learning.
