Intern Bachelors - Electronic Engineer (m/f/d)

Kick-start your engineering career with a 12-month Electronics Engineering Internship at Honeywell's Leicester R&D site. Working alongside experienced electronics, software, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers, you'll contribute to the development of innovative fire detection and life-safety technologies. • Support the design, development, testing, and improvement of electronic and electro-mechanical systems.
• Apply engineering principles and problem-solving skills to deliver project tasks on time and to agreed quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electronics, software, mechanical, validation, and manufacturing engineers.
• Assist in creating innovative product and industrial design concepts and contribute ideas for new technologies and improvements.
• Support component evaluation and approval activities, ensuring compliance with quality and engineering processes.
• Provide technical support for manufacturing and product development activities while helping drive continuous improvement initiatives.

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate issues and identify practical solutions.
• Understanding of electronic circuit design, testing, and measurement fundamentals.
• Awareness of electronic design (eCAD) tools and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn, with an interest in using emerging technologies, including AI, to support engineering activities.
