Intern-Control Risks ONE

The purpose of the internship program is to provide the university student with an opportunity to develop professional skills, gain practical knowledge, and experience working life at a global risk consultancy!

Location: London Bridge

Duration: Full time, 6 months (potentially ongoing)

What You'll Do:

The successful candidate will support the delivery of daily reporting, personalized service, special watch and monitoring on behalf of clients’ global interests utilizing open-source research. The candidate will also be trained to use Seerist – the only analytics solution that augments AI (Artificial Intelligence) with on-the-ground geopolitical risk analysis – and will utilize the platform daily to support Senior Risk Consultants within Control Risks ONE.

Who You Are:

Essential

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate degree.
• Student of Political Science, International Relations, Intelligence Studies, Economics and/or Organized Crime/Public Security/Terrorism.
• Ability to write clearly, concisely and authoritatively to tight deadlines.
• Proven track record of using open source and publicly available information in conducting research.
• Keen interest in global security and risk, anti-terrorism, transnational crime and compliance.

Preferred

• Experience in Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
• Experience working with big data and artificial intelligence solutions.
• Proficiency in Spanish, French, or languages other than English helpful.
• Tolerant and able to thrive in a dynamic, multicultural environment.
• Analytical and methodological.
• Innovative and creative.
• Collaborative and a team player.
• Willing to contribute to multiple projects simultaneously.
