Introduction to our program 

What exactly is Sportable’s internship? 

Sportable’s internship program is a 2 weeks to 12 months position embedded within the company. You can join any of our teams from Product. Commercial, Electronics, Software, Mechanical Design or Data Science.  

Each internship is different.

At Sportable we offer full-time internships which could last 4 weeks or even a full year.  

What Sportable provides as a host organization? From recruitment to completion, Sportable expects to provide valuable work experience to our interns. Where candidates are interesting in getting a more holistic view of the business, they  may navigate around all the areas of the business. 

What work will I do?

You are the “primary beneficiary” of the relationship: The internship accommodates the intern’s academic commitments and provides beneficial learning opportunities. 

Will I be paid?

Sportable will pay the National Minimum Wage (NMW) based on age brackets.   All internship payments will be pro-rated to your working hours. 

What our internship is not about:

Please also note that a job is not guaranteed at the end of the internship and your work does not replace the work of paid employees.  

Manufacturing & Supply Chain 

At Sportable, the Manufacturing Team is responsible for the delivery of all Sportable's Hardware and Physical products. The Functions within the team include Manufacturing, New Product Introduction (NPI) , Supply Chain, Test and Quality.  

The intern who is successful in joining us for a few weeks would primarily be helping our test team.  

Learning objectives and goals: 

• Learn how to reprogram Sportable Smart Footballs and bring them to life 


• See how our tech evolves from a bare PCB to a fully integrated smart ball ready for the game 

Daily responsibilities:  

• Reflashing smart devices  


• Running PCBA testing to support R&D 


• Stock Counts 


• Helping set up the inventory ERP system.
