Job Description - Large Merchant Sales Intern

We offer merchants an end-to-end payments solution that provides authorization and settlement capabilities, as well as instant access to funds and payouts. We also help merchants connect with their customers, process exchanges and returns, and manage risk. We manage complex, high-value merchant relationships and are responsible for driving payment performance, commercial outcomes, and long-term growth.\n\nJob Description:\n\nWe\u0027re looking for a Sales Intern who\u0027s commercially minded, organised, and motivated to make things happen. This isn\u0027t an admin role - it\u0027s an opportunity to work inside a high-performing sales team, help us move faster, and get real exposure to enterprise-level account management at one of the world\u0027s leading payments companies.\n\nIf you\u0027re someone who gets energy from solving problems, keeping projects on track, and working at pace \u2014 this role is for you.\n\nWhat You\u0027ll Be Doing\n\nYou\u0027ll be embedded in the Large Enterprise AM team, supporting account managers in executing against their merchant priorities. Day-to-day, that looks like:\n\n\u2022 Helping remove blockers and keep commercial projects moving \u2014 chasing inputs, consolidating information, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks\n\n\u2022 Supporting the preparation of merchant-facing materials: account reviews, executive briefs, and performance decks\n\n\u2022 Assisting with process mapping and project coordination across internal teams (product, operations, analytics, legal)\n\n\u2022 Pulling together data and analysis to support business cases, proposals, and merchant conversations\n\n\u2022 Sitting in on merchant calls and internal strategy sessions, and helping action follow-ups\n\n\u2022 Spotting opportunities to make the team\u0027s ways of working sharper and more efficient\n\nThe focus is on clock speed \u2014 helping us execute faster and more effectively on things that actually move the needle for our merchants.\n\nWhat We\u0027re Looking For\n\nYou don\u0027t need payments experience \u2014 but we are looking for:\n\n\u2022 Commercially curious. You\u0027re interested in how businesses grow, how deals get done, and how companies like PayPal create value for merchants.\n\n\u2022 Project-minded. You like having ownership of things, keeping track of moving parts, and following through.\n\n\u2022 A strong communicator. Clear in writing, confident in conversation, and comfortable engaging with different stakeholders.\n\n\u2022 Analytical and structured. You can work with data, spot patterns, and present information clearly \u2014 comfortable in Excel and PowerPoint.\n\n\u2022 High energy and proactive.
