Marketing/Digital Marketing Intern

As an award winning Information Security and Risk Management company with over 15 years’ experience, we are passionate about educating, helping and protecting our clients from the many secure threats to their data out there, and we do this in a completely different way – transparently!

Our goal is to demystify the information security governance and risk management process and make real data security achievable for businesses.

This year we are launching a new service – a never-been-done before and completely new way to purchase governance, risk and compliance services from our new Risk Factory website (www.riskfactory.com). 

In this exciting period of growth and change, we are looking for the right person to come on board and help us execute the marketing strategy and grow the business – could this be you? 

What to expect? 

You will be reporting to the Marketing Manager and assisting with various administrative and marketing duties as outlined in the marketing plan and below. With lots of mini projects to get involved in, there will be a real opportunity for you to show off your creative flair, therefore if you have an idea – we want to hear it!!

• Updating website with relevant content 

• Continuous monitoring/ auditing of website and making improvements

• Copy writing for website and various social media platforms 

• Follower building for social media channels 

• Researching and contributing to the content plan

• Helping to create and execute HTML email campaigns 

• Analytical reporting on Google Analytics and Social media performance 

• Preparing material and helping out at events

Rate: Only expenses will be paid.

What do you need to be considered for the role of Marketing/Digital Marketing Intern?

Essential

• Degree/Studying in a related field 

• High attention to detail

• Great knowledge of social media 

• Excellent communication skills, written, verbal and interpersonal

• Strong numeracy skills and analytical ability

• Excellent team player 

• Good administrative and IT skills (including Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel) 

• Tons of creativity 

• Ability to work on own initiative and meet deadlines 

• Exceptional work ethic

• Good research and internet skills 

• Great passion for Digital Marketing

Desirable 

• Previous marketing experience

• Knowledge of governance, risk and compliance extremely advantageous

• Experience of web updating using a content management system

• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop

• Previous event experience
