Multimedia Content Intern

Fall 2025 Internship: This position is located at our HQ in Durham, NC.  Expected program dates are September 2 – December 12, 2025. 

Job Title: Multimedia Content Intern

Introduction: 

This role is open to undergraduate students currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program, majoring in marketing, business, communications, or other similar major. The Multimedia Marketing Intern will support our marketing team in implementing and optimizing digital marketing strategies across various channels. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain practical experience in digital marketing, content creation, and graphic design with a specific focus on video production and management.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in producing multimedia content for videos and episodes of our show Let’s Talk Retail (e.g., in-video graphics and video clip creation for social media)


• Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualize and storyboard multimedia projects


• Assist in the development and execution of visuals for digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media, and online advertising


• Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative content ideas


• Help maintain a visual content library, organizing files and assets for easy access


• Support the marketing team with administrative tasks and project management as needed

Required Skills:

• Ability to create, upload, and manage videos on YouTube is required


• Basic knowledge of Adobe Premier is required


• Basic knowledge of Creative Cloud is a strong plus


• Basic knowledge InDesign is a strong plus


• Knowledge of social media channels (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram is a strong plus)


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines


• Creative thinker with a passion for digital marketing and technology


• Interest in video, digital marketing, and research


• Solid understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)


• Capable of taking direction and working independently on assigned tasks


• Ability to collaborate with diverse team members as needed


• Fluency in English
