Swarm Recruitment is supporting Sensory and Consumer Research (SAM) in their search for a Market Research Apprentice. This full-time role offers an excellent opportunity to launch your career in market research within a supportive and inclusive team. Based in the Nottingham, you’ll gain hands-on experience while completing a Level 4 Market Research Apprenticeship with comprehensive training and support throughout.

About the Role

A Market Research Apprentice supports the planning, coordination and execution of research projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Coordination and Management:

• Fieldwork planning and supervision


• Sample handling including managing local product sourcing & shipment, plus
  subcontractors


• Programming and reviewing screeners, questionnaires and/or respondent
  instructions


• Tracking and monitoring questionnaire completion


• Assisting with project/results delivery


• Client communication

People:

• Close collaboration with other internal departments


• Liaising with our international colleagues


• Increasing exposure to clients


• Working with consumers

Education

A-Levels in Sciences preferred but not essential

Technical Skills Required

• Proficiency in Outlook & Teams


• Basic understanding of PowerPoint & Excel

Soft Skills Required

• A positive, solutions-focused mindset

Working Week

Core working hours are 36.5 hours from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday with a 45-minute lunch break. You will be required to work from the office on most days with some
evening work required.

After successful completion of the apprenticeship, there may be an opportunity for a permanent position depending on performance. There is the potential of a successful career with the company which could move into a leadership position in the future.

Training Information

The apprenticeship training will be delivered by Swarm Training, a national provider of apprenticeships across the UK. The successful candidate will work towards the Level 4 Market Research qualification, which typically takes 15–18 months to complete, including assessments.

As part of the apprenticeship requirements, 6 hours per week minimum will be allocated to self-study and off-the-job learning, supported by regular guidance from a dedicated tutor.
