Applications are invited for the remote online Junior Research Fellowship. (For candidates currently enrolled in Bachelor’s / Master’s / Doctoral programs in any discipline/subject)

This is designed for students, graduates, early-career researchers, and professionals interested in policy research, human rights, governance, international relations, law, public policy, and related fields.

Selected candidates will work under structured guidance and supervision to develop research, analytical writing, and policy drafting skills which involves literature review, policy analysis, preparation of research notes, and drafting of a supervised research paper, policy brief, or analytical report.

Tasks

Program Overview • Learn and apply our structured methodology for drafting a research paper in one of the approved researchable areas. • No prior research paper writing experience is required. Candidates will receive comprehensive mentorship and continuous guidance throughout the fellowship tenure. • Being recognized as a Certified Junior Research Fellow is a notable academic achievement and a valuable enhancement to your CV, helping you stand out before employers, universities, and scholarship committees by offering a distinct competitive edge.

What You will Do:Learn and Lead Groundbreaking Research: Develop the ability to address critical policy challenges and propose innovative solutions. • Collaborate with Experts: Engage with experienced researchers and mentors. • Strategic Analysis: Apply data-driven approaches to formulate impactful policy recommendations. • Publish & Create Impact: Contribute your research findings to reputable academic and policy-oriented publications.

Candidates will select one researchable area for conducting their research.

Requirements

Eligibility Criteria / Who Can Apply: • Open to candidates who are currently enrolled in or have completed a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral program from any recognized university. • Applicants from all academic disciplines are encouraged to apply, including but not limited to Law, Human Rights, International Relations, Management, Political Science, Social Sciences, Engineering, Medicine, Business, and related fields. • Working and non-working professionals from all sectors are welcome. This includes lecturers, professors, advocates, medical professionals, journalists, engineers, managers, environmental scientists, government officials, social activists, political practitioners, and professionals from any relevant field. • Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work independently in a virtual environment and adhere to specified deadlines.

Applicants should have:

  • Good written English.
  • Interest in policy research, human rights, governance, law, or related areas.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to follow research methodology and supervisor feedback.

Prior research publication experience is not mandatory, Selected candidates will undergo a four-week methodology learning/training program, followed by a four-week research writing phase.
