  • Carrying out basic maintenance and checks on plant and equipment

  • Supporting the team to maintain environmental good practice within the port

  • Undertake basic maintenance of plant and equipment

Training will be delivered both on the job at Garston and via block release at Port Training Services in Blyth (travel required).

What are the entry requirements?

  • Must be 18 years or over (due to working with plant and equipment)

  • Full UK driving licence

  • Willingness to travel and stay away occasionally for training in Blyth

  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
