Data Science Intern

The Lynceus Modelling team are looking for a Data Science  intern (3 months or more) to help fast-track some of our exciting new initiatives. During the internship, you will:

• Contribute to the development, maintenance and documentation of our internal modeling tools incorporating internal and customer feedback.

• Assist with data exploration using internal tool and third party tools to the goal of improving our modeling

• Suggest improvements across the full product suite, advocating improvement and where appropriate own the development and deployment of new features.

• Contribute to the general R&D initiatives of Lynceus. Be part of a team and work with your peers to grow the company and product suite.

• Participate in model deployment, working together with our ML Engineers

• Participate in customer meetings working with your peers to process their data and tailor our models to their needs.

• Fluent in English, which will be our working language

• Currently pursuing an ML-relevant degree (Bachelor or above) such as statistics, mathematics, computer science or data science

• Solid command of Python

• Good communication skills, particularly in communicating complex scientific information

• Strong sense of curiosity coupled with technical excellence

• Team-work spirit and autonomy

• Git knowledge

• Past track record of delivering technical research is a big plus

• Past experience of ML production is a big plus
