Wahed Invest is a mission-driven Islamic fintech pioneering ethical investing for Muslims worldwide. We’re looking for a passionate and proactive Events & Community Intern to help us build meaningful connections with our community and execute a variety of educational and engagement-based events. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience at the intersection of finance, community building, and purpose-led impact.
Job Description:
- Map key community segments and support the development of event strategies tailored to their needs.
- Help identify potential collaborators, speakers, panelists, educators and influencers.
- Support the planning and execution of internal and external events – from virtual webinars to in-person community events.
- Help coordinate logistics including scheduling, venue/Zoom bookings, communications, and on-the-day support.
- Assist in designing event feedback surveys to gather insights and improve future experiences.
Job Specification:
- Experience with events, university societies, Islamic networks, or community work
- A self-starter with a hands-on approach and a can-do attitude.
