Sustainability Intern (6 months)

THE INTERN ROLE

We are looking for an ambitious Intern with an interest in sustainability, creating positive societal change and supporting business to overcome problems to join our growing team at Robertsbridge.

An intern will work across the company helping to support a range of clients and account teams. This means the ability to quickly digest information, conduct research and analysis, engage with stakeholders and deliver outputs across various communication methods (reports, presentations, email).

Interns are exposed to the full range of our sustainability strategies and programmes. You will be encouraged to explore the areas of the company you find most interesting meaning your role will change as you develop your skills and interests. Interns work closely with the whole team and will gain unique insight from leading industry experts.

In your role, you will work as part of a team that are defining sustainability strategies; delivering, communicating and implementing sustainability programmes; and leading on strategic stakeholder engagement and mediation with cross-sector clients.

INTERN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Providing day-to-day support on client accounts, assisting the team with successful delivery of sustainability projects
• Conducting research on account projects and on business development activities, with steer from more senior members of the team
• Contributing to the first draft of client materials (e.g., decks, reports, discussion guides, workshop materials, roundtable materials)
• Participating in internal calls
• Supporting your team with admin task

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Knowledge of and interest in sustainability, either through previous work experience or university degree
• Enthusiasm to learn how to develop sustainability strategies and campaigns for cross-sector clients
• Aware of general sustainability trends and keeps abreast of the latest developments in sustainability
• Able to work efficiently on multiple projects to deadlines
• Able to deliver high standard of work with senior support and direction
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite

INTERVIEW PROCESS

Interviews will take place late April / early May, with a view to start the 6-month internship in June 2025. The Round 1 interview will be a Microsoft Teams competency-based interview and the Final Round will be a task-based presentation in person at our central London office that will be briefed so you can prepare in advance.
