Salary: c£27,500
Full Time | Monday to Friday | 8:30am – 5:30pm

We are recruiting for a Trainee Accounts Assistant to join a busy finance team supporting multiple sites across a successful automotive group. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organised, numerate and keen to develop their accounting skills in a supportive environment.

The Role

You'll receive full training while assisting with a variety of day-to-day finance and administrative tasks, including:

* Processing daily banking across multiple sites

* Producing daily reports for different departments

* Scanning and maintaining digital financial records

* Processing self-billing invoices

* Maintaining finance settlement accounts and liaising with departmental managers

* Reviewing bank payments and matching vehicle deals with payments

* Assisting with monthly stock checks

* Supporting purchase ledger activities

* Providing assistance with month-end accounts preparation

What We're Looking For

* A keen interest in finance or accounting

* Excellent attention to detail

* Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office

* Good numerical ability

* Well organised with the ability to prioritise workload

* A positive attitude and willingness to learn

* Previous office or finance experience is beneficial but not essential
