Trainee Customer Support Administrator

Aim and Purpose of the role:

To provide administrative support to the team

Specific Duties:

Duties could include, but are not limited to the following:

• Receive training on how to assist with setting up new business/accounts and keeping client information accurate and up to date


• Support the team by working alongside administration and support departments to help maintain timely and well-organised client records


• Gradually develop skills in communicating with clients, providers, third parties, and internal teams under supervision


• Assist with checking that client fees are processed correctly and help with basic monitoring of outstanding payments


• Carry out general administrative tasks for the department as required


• Learn how to upload, update, and manage information on the CRM system


• Take on additional tasks and responsibilities appropriate to a trainee role as directed by the Line Manager or Director

  • Ability to remain calm and tactful when under pressure;
  • High level of care and attention to detail even when working under pressure;

  • Organized and passionate about providing quality support;
  • Positive outlook & personality and the ability to get on well with other people.
  • A level (or equivalent) standard with GCSE pass in English & Maths;
  • Computer literacy is essential. Proficient in Google Mail/Drive/Sheets/Word.
  • Experience of Document Management System and document scanning an advantage;
  • Financial Services administration background is advantageous but not essential. Investments; desirable.
