Trainee electrical production operative

Trainee electrical production operative required to join a manufacturing company in Highbridge, Somerset (TA9)

If you are a labourer, working in construction, landscaping, highways or other manual / physical work and looking for stable hours and long-term career prospects, this is the right role for you!

* Temp-to-perm contract after 6 successful weeks

* Starting from £12.71 per hour, increasing to £13ph when fully trained and £14ph when multi-skilled

* Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm, Friday: 7:30am – 1:30pm - Finish early every Friday!

* Free parking on site or 20 mins walk from Highbridge & Burnham train station

* Full training provided with opportunities to develop new skills

About the role

* Learning how to install electrical systems such as lighting and heating elements, plug sockets etc

* Safe and efficient use of hand and power tools

* Carry out assembly and manufacturing tasks

* Manual handling and other physical tasks

About You

* A background in physical / manual work such as labouring, construction, manufacturing, warehouse, production etc

* Comfortable using hand and power tools

* Good attention to detail and a willingness to learn

* Physically capable of performing manual tasks in a busy environment
