A long-established and highly respected manufacturer specialising in high-end bespoke interiors, joinery, furniture and fit-out projects. With over a century of experience, the company combines traditional craftsmanship with modern manufacturing techniques to produce high-quality products for luxury commercial and residential environments.

The company is looking for motivated and hands-on individuals to join its team as Trainee Manufacturing Operatives.

Successful candidates will receive full training and will have the opportunity to develop specialist skills in either Paint Spraying or Wood Machining, or Metal Work depending on their interests and suitability.

About the Role

As a Trainee Manufacturing Operative, you will work alongside experienced craftsmen and learn the practical skills required to manufacture and finish high-quality bespoke furniture, interiors and joinery.

Training may include:

Paint Spraying & Finishing - preparing surfaces, sanding, masking and learning to apply professional paint, lacquer and other finishes using spray equipment.
Wood Machining - measuring, preparing and machining timber and manufactured boards using specialist woodworking machinery and hand tools.
Metal Work - learning to measure, cut, shape, drill, fabricate and finish metal components using hand tools, power tools and specialist machinery.You will receive structured on-the-job training while developing your practical, technical and manufacturing skills.

Key Responsibilities

Learn and assist with manufacturing, machining and finishing processes.
Prepare materials accurately for production.
Measure and mark materials using drawings and specifications.
Learn to safely operate machinery, tools and equipment.
Follow technical drawings, measurements and instructions.
Carry out quality checks to ensure work meets required standards.
Assist with preparing machinery, tools and materials.
Maintain tools, machinery and the work area in a clean and safe condition.
Follow all company health and safety procedures.
Work as part of a skilled manufacturing team to meet production requirements.About You

Interested in manufacturing, woodworking, painting, craftsmanship or practical work.
Practical and hands-on approach.
Good attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
Comfortable working with measurements and dimensions.
Willingness to learn and develop new technical skills.
Able to follow instructions and work safely.
Reliable, punctual and motivated.
Works well as part of a team.No previous experience is required - full training will be provided.

Previous experience using hand tools, power tools, machinery or working in a practical manufacturing environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
