Trainee Quantity Surveyor

A bit about the role

We’re looking for a Trainee QS to join the team, working on our social housing projects. It’s a great opportunity to learn the commercial side of construction while helping deliver quality homes.

No prior QS experience is needed—we’re looking for someone who’s organised, keen to learn and happy to get stuck in.

What you’ll be doing (with support):

• Learning how we manage project costs and commercial performance


• Helping with pricing works and getting quotes from suppliers/subcontractors


• Supporting monthly cost reporting


• Assisting with subcontractor orders, payments and valuations


• Getting to grips with contracts, project requirements and programmes


• Supporting the team with general commercial tasks

What we’re looking for:

• Interest in construction/commercial work


• Good organisation and attention to detail


• Willingness to learn and develop


• Good communication skills


• Basic IT skills (Excel, Outlook, etc.)


• Driving licence
