About Care to Grow

Care to Grow is a charity dedicated to supporting children’s wellbeing and emotional literacy. By training trusted adults in schools, the organisation helps children build the resilience and emotional tools they need to thrive in education and in life.

The role

Volunteer Buddies provide weekly check-ins with children who need extra support, giving them a meaningful break from the classroom, helping them feel more regulated, and enabling them to return to learning ready to engage.

“This isn’t about being an expert, it’s about showing up consistently, building a genuine relationship, and becoming a trusted adult in a child’s life.”  Care to Grow Buddy
