Accountant - Remote Work

Job Description: CSX, a leading company in the transportation industry, is seeking a remote Accountant to join our team in London, England. As an Associate Level Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial information, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This is a part-time position with the opportunity to work remotely.

Responsibilities: - Prepare financial statements and reports - Analyze financial data and provide insights to management - Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations - Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes - Manage accounts payable and receivable - Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies - Assist with audits and tax filings - Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial accuracy - Provide financial guidance and support to team members - Work independently and efficiently in a remote environment

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field - 2+ years of experience in accounting - Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and presentation skills - High level of emotional intelligence - Independent and motivated work ethic - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment
