Accounts Payable

Job Description:

Expeditors International of Washington is seeking a part-time Accounts Payable Associate to join our team in London, England. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in accounts payable and possess the necessary skills and traits to excel in this role.

Responsibilities: - Process accounts payable invoices in a timely and accurate manner - Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies - Prepare and process weekly payment runs - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of accounts payable transactions - Assist with month-end closing procedures as needed - Work closely with vendors to ensure prompt payment and resolve any issues - Assist with internal and external audits as required

Requirements: - 3+ years of experience in accounts payable - Reliable and resourceful personality traits - Strong leadership skills and ability to persuade others - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software - Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
