Job description:

Macy’s, a leading retail company in London, UK, is seeking a dedicated and independent Accounts Payable Associate to join our team on a part-time basis. As an Accounts Payable Associate at Macy’s, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices while adhering to company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities: - Process a high volume of invoices for payment - Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies - Communicate with vendors to address payment inquiries - Assist with month-end closing activities - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all payables - Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow - Contribute to process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the accounts payable function

Requirements: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or related field - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Emotional intelligence and leadership qualities - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to work independently and as part of a team
