Remote Accounts Payable

Job Description: As a Remote Accounts Payable Associate at Charles Schwab in London, England, UK, you will be responsible for managing the financial transactions of the company with a high level of accuracy and efficiency. Your primary duties will include processing invoices, reconciling accounts, preparing financial reports, and maintaining vendor relationships. You will also be expected to adhere to company policies and procedures, ensure compliance with regulations, and contribute to process improvements within the Accounts Payable department.

Responsibilities: - Process a high volume of invoices accurately and timely - Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies - Prepare and distribute payments to vendors - Assist with month-end close procedures - Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions - Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders - Collaborate with other departments to support company goals - Participate in special projects or initiatives as assigned

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field - Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounts payable or similar role - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities - Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively - Reliable and trustworthy with confidential information - Excellent planning and time management skills - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
