Accounts Payable

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a part-time Accounts Payable Associate to join our team at Reinsurance Group of America in London, England. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payable processes and ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors.

Responsibilities: - Process invoices, expense reports, and other financial transactions in a timely and accurate manner - Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies - Communicate with vendors to resolve payment issues and discrepancies - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts payable transactions - Assist with month-end closing processes and financial reporting - Prepare and distribute payments to vendors via check or electronic transfer - Assist with internal and external audits as needed - Ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned by management

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field - Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounts payable or similar role - Energetic and adaptable personality traits - Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
