Children's Services have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced admin/business support assistant. We are offering a fixed term (12 Months), part time Extended Director's Management Team (EDMT) Administrative Assistant role with an opportunity to provide admin support to the Regional NWADCS/DfE Partnership Programme Director - who will be working from Warrington as a base, but undertaking work across the North-West Region. The role will involve fielding calls and emails, diary management, organising meetings and events. Typing up notes and agendas, attending meetings to take minutes/notes/actions. What will you be doing?
Providing a professional, high quality administrative/business support service to a Director within our Strategic Leadership Team. We need you to take inbound calls to the Director if they are busy and require cover, either forward on those calls, answer the query or take key messages by using your excellent communication and decision-making skills. You will mainly be undertaking diary management, minute-taking and organising meetings, agendas and events so first-class organisational skills are a must. We may also need you to undertake data-entry work from time to time and some lower-level procurement tasks. You will work mainly on your own, but we do have other EDMT Admin Assistants that you can call on and look to, to help you when needed. You will be expected to use initiative and problem-solving skills to support the Director to achieve their objectives, including seeking out responses to queries/undertaking any ad-hoc tasks/pieces of work that come your way. We are looking for someone with the following experience and qualities:
Hours of Work:
15 per week - Days to be negotiated - ideally split over a minimum of 3, to a maximum of 5 days per week with some flexibility to move around for an important meeting in the diary etc. if needed on occasion.

The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
