Job Description:
International Paper is seeking a dedicated and energetic Operations Manager to join our team in London, England. As a part-time position at a mid-to-senior level, the Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our facility, ensuring that all quality and safety standards are upheld.
Responsibilities: - Develop and implement operational processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs - Manage a team of employees, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their goals - Monitor production schedules and equipment maintenance to ensure optimal performance - Analyze data and generate reports to track key performance indicators and make recommendations for improvement - Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of activities - Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies - Drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the organization - Develop and implement strategies to exceed customer expectations and deliver delight
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Engineering, or a related field - Minimum of 6 years of experience in operations management or a similar role - Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of team management - Excellent communication and presentation skills - Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment - Project management experience is a plus - Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and other operational best practices - Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
