Job Description:
Viacom is seeking a part-time Chat Support Manager to join our dynamic team in a remote work capacity. As a mid-to-senior level professional with at least 7 years of experience in customer support or related fields, you will be responsible for managing a team of chat support agents to ensure high-quality and efficient customer service.
Responsibilities: 1. Manage and supervise a team of chat support agents to provide timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries. 2. Monitor chat support metrics and KPIs to ensure team performance meets or exceeds targets. 3. Develop and implement new strategies and processes to improve chat support efficiency and customer satisfaction. 4. Coordinate with other departments, such as IT and marketing, to address complex customer issues. 5. Train and onboard new chat support agents, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively. 6. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and feedback to team members. 7. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in chat support technology and customer service.
Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred. 2. Proven experience in managing a team of chat support agents. 3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 4. Strong problem-solving and research abilities. 5. Adaptable and resilient personality traits. 6. Proficiency in chat support software and tools. 7. Ability to work independently and in a remote team environment.
