Job Description:
PayPal is seeking a dynamic and experienced Chat Support Manager to join our team in London, England. This is a part-time remote position with a mid-to-senior level of seniority, requiring a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities: - Manage a team of chat support agents, ensuring timely and high-quality responses to customer inquiries and issues - Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and increase efficiency within the chat support department - Monitor key metrics and KPIs to track performance and make data-driven decisions - Provide training and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvements in processes and systems - Handle escalated customer issues and ensure resolution in a timely manner - Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in chat support management
Requirements: - Proven experience in managing a chat support team, preferably in a remote work environment - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members - Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a keen eye for detail - Dedicated and resourceful, with the ability to think critically and solve problems effectively - Experience with customer service software and tools, such as Zendesk or Salesforce - Persuasion skills and the ability to influence others in a positive manner - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
