Job Description:
Nucor, a leading steel and steel products manufacturer, is seeking a Contact Center Officer to join our team on a part-time remote basis. This is an entry-level position perfect for individuals with at least 1 year of customer service experience looking to further their career in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities: 1. Handle inbound and outbound customer calls, emails, and chats in a timely and professional manner. 2. Provide accurate, valid, and complete information to customers regarding products, services, and inquiries. 3. Research and resolve customer complaints and issues effectively and efficiently. 4. Update customer information in the database during and after each call. 5. Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. 6. Meet and exceed individual and team performance metrics. 7. Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge. 8. Maintain a positive, energetic, and dedicated attitude at all times.
Requirements: 1. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service role. 2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 4. Strong research and negotiation skills. 5. Energetic and dedicated personality traits. 6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software. 7. High school diploma or equivalent.
