Job Description:
Consolidated Edison is seeking a talented Customer Service Manager to join our team in a remote work capacity in London, England, UK. This part-time position is ideal for someone with 6 years of experience in customer service, ideally in a leadership role. As a mid-to-senior level position, the Customer Service Manager will be responsible for overseeing a team of remote customer service representatives.
Responsibilities: - Develop and implement customer service policies and procedures - Monitor customer service metrics and ensure team goals are met - Handle escalated customer issues and provide resolutions in a timely manner - Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members - Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience - Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in customer service - Assist in training new customer service representatives - Manage remote team schedules and ensure coverage during peak hours - Represent the company in a professional and positive manner at all times
Requirements: - 6 years of experience in customer service, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively - Reliable and passionate about delivering exceptional customer service - Strong negotiation and research skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field (preferred)
