Job Description:
SunTrust Banks is seeking a talented and experienced Customer Support Manager to join our team in a remote work capacity based in London, England. As a mid-to-senior level professional with at least 6 years of experience in customer support or a related field, you will play a key role in ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and retention.
Responsibilities: 1. Manage a team of remote customer support representatives, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure high performance levels. 2. Develop and implement strategies to improve customer support processes and efficiency. 3. Handle escalated customer inquiries and complaints, providing swift and effective resolutions. 4. Monitor customer support metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions. 5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address customer needs and improve overall customer experience. 6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in customer support to drive innovation. 7. Conduct regular training sessions for customer support team members to enhance their skills and knowledge. 8. Drive initiatives to increase customer loyalty and retention through proactive engagement and support. 9. Lead by example in demonstrating excellent customer service skills and professionalism in all interactions.
Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. 2. Proven experience in a customer support management role, preferably in the banking or financial services industry. 3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 4. Strong leadership abilities with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams. 5. Motivated and resilient personality traits to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding work environment. 6. Solid research skills to stay informed about customer support trends and best practices. 7. Ability to think creatively and drive innovation in customer support processes. 8. Visa sponsorship for candidates outside of the UK. 9. Valid work permit for remote work in the UK.
