Fixed Term 20 hours per week for 6 months

We are looking for an Assistant Service Manager to join our person-centered services in Bognor Regis where we support people with a learning disability.

This is a temporary part time role for 6 months. There may also be further opportunities in the future to develop this role as we are working to expand our service provision in the local area.

You will report directly to the Area Operations Manager and ensure the continued smooth operation of a supported living service by undertaking a range of management tasks to support the team, and the people living there.

The role will involve undertaking agreed management tasks:

· Recruitment and induction of new staff

· Supporting the staff team to develop and to be compliant with their training and practice

· Leading on the review and implementation of support planning, risk assessment and outcome-based support using our What Matters Most app.

· Ensuring the service meets key performance indicators and quality standards.

· Contributing to and overseeing systems and records that support health and safety and maintenance of service environment as required.

· Contributing to the monitoring and completion of management reporting systems.

· Contributing to monitoring and completion of administration systems such as reviewing time sheets and in putting information into payroll and invoice systems

· You will be supported to put into practice the skills and knowledge required to be able to progress to a future Service Manager role.
