Job Description:
Guardian Life Insurance Company of America is seeking a motivated and energetic Call Center Associate to join our team in London, England. This part-time entry-level position requires at least 1 year of experience in a customer service or call center role. The ideal candidate will be independent, have strong time management skills, and be able to effectively problem solve in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities: 1. Answer incoming calls from policyholders, agents, and potential customers 2. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and offering solutions 3. Process policy changes, claims, and other transactions accurately and efficiently 4. Maintain a high level of professionalism and empathy in all interactions 5. Meet performance metrics and goals set by management 6. Update customer records and information in the company database 7. Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive and cohesive work environment
Requirements: 1. High school diploma or equivalent 2. 1 year of experience in customer service or call center role 3. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written 4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software systems quickly 5. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively 6. Energetic personality with a positive attitude 7. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet
