Call Center Officer

Job Description: Graybar Electric is seeking a confident and energetic Call Center Officer to join our team in London, England. As a part-time entry level position, the Call Center Officer will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls to provide exceptional customer service to our clients.

Responsibilities: 1. Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner. 2. Make outbound calls to follow up on customer orders, resolve issues, and provide additional information as needed. 3. Utilize persuasion and negotiation skills to upsell products and services to customers. 4. Ensure accuracy in data entry and maintain customer records in the company database. 5. Collaborate with other team members to meet and exceed customer satisfaction goals. 6. Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and company policies to provide accurate information to customers. 7. Adhere to call center scripts and guidelines to maintain consistency in customer interactions. 8. Strive to meet key performance indicators such as call conversion rates and customer satisfaction ratings.

Requirements: 1. 1 year of experience in a call center or customer service role is preferred. 2. Confidence and energy to engage with customers in a positive and professional manner. 3. Strong persuasion and negotiation skills to effectively upsell products and services. 4. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. 5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. 6. Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) software. 7. Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
